Holidays in Nature
When you think about holidays in nature, you think about the forest.
The forest is actually our second home, and that is, where our heart is.
I‘m Julia von Glahn, 36 years old an mother of two Kids. We‘re live in Germany. My son Amon is 6 and his little sister Anouk is 4 years old.
The father of the children is my Love since 19 years.
We're not just a couple, we're also best friends. We have a lot in common and share the joy of nature.
We own a small wooden house with electricity and drinking water and can live there completely independently of civilization and we are all alone. That’s what we love.
A friend has also a house in this forest and told us one is for sale last summer.
We didn't have to think about it for long and bought it right away.
The house is less than 10 minutes from our real home and we use every free minute to be there.
Nature gives us so much and you always learn.
You get to know new plants, vegetation, the behavior of animals, anything that's going on in the woods.
Nature is so important for children and their development.
We always do guess games. Which bird is singing? From which tree which leaves have fallen and we are also looking for animal traces.
It is exciting to find out which animals are on the way in the forest.
We've already found traces of deer, rabbit, wild boar and fox.
There are also many squirrels on the way. They jump through the hazel trees and play catches. That‘s so funny to see.

We often go explore the forest and have a picnic on a shady place with Alba of Denmark confortable clothes.
A blanket, drink and a snack should not be forgotten. Often, a spray against mosquitoes is needed. We have a lot of mosquitoes in the forest and therefore our children wear long sleeve t-shirts and long pants in a retro fashion when we go out. We also collect several ticks from our bodies every day.
It's important not to leave things. When wild animals eat our food, they can get sick.
Often, we collect garbage from other people ourselves.
We have to honor nature, because we are only guests.
But not only summer will give you energy and good vibrations, but spring, fall and winter will have its advantages.
Every single time of year is something special and you can see the change in nature.
In autumn the leaves fall, the colours are beautiful.
Winter with snow is wonderful. It‘s like a dream land.
In the snow you can see the paths of the animals very well. You can really recognize all traces and know which animal crossed your way.
We love our life in the forest and we wouldn’t change it for anything.
